This series of charcoal drawings on paper was made during the pandemic's first lockdown, in early 2020 in Switzerland. The inspiration came from my recent move to Bern, seeing the 3 captive bears in a park right in the middle of the city, being confined in a small apartment trying to figure out what to do with my time, keeping on the bright side of life. Boredom, self-reflection, sitting on a very uncomfortable desk chair.

This is a humorous and poetic view of this time.
